A MASSIVE THANK YOU TO THE HARBORNE SOCIETY! Earlier this year the decision was taken for the dissolution of the Harborne Society after 58 years since its founding on 4th May 1960. The Society has had an outstanding record of involvement in many local issues and of championing Harborne at every opportunity. The Society recently granted Harborne Library some funding which has helped us to replace some of our old and shabby furniture as well as providing a projector and stand for use in the library.

The Harborne Society Annual Dinner, held on the 13th October 2014 at the University College Birmingham, was again a great success. Our guest speaker was one of our members, Mr Sean Corkery, who was an amusing raconteur.
